P4Y – Step 30 – Small Acts, Long Journey

Posted on 1 Settembre 20251 Settembre 2025 By Francesco

I’ve never spoken about this before. Not because it wasn’t important, but because some things are meant to be done quietly. Today, though, I feel the need to share. Not to be praised, but to leave a thought. An invitation. A trace.

For years now, every month, a portion of what I earn takes a different path: it goes to those who have less. The homeless, forgotten veterans, children facing hardships no child should ever know. These aren’t large sums. They don’t change the world on their own. But they’re consistent. And over time, they become something.

It’s not charity. It’s balance. It’s the way I choose to redistribute what’s unnecessary. I’d rather take something away from myself—a habit, a small luxury, an impulsive purchase—and turn it into a gesture that, elsewhere, might make a difference. Because making a difference isn’t always a revolution. Sometimes it’s a hot meal. A pair of shoes. A smile from someone who had stopped expecting one.

We live in a time full of noise. Where quiet gestures risk being lost, and generosity is often mistaken for performance. But I still believe that the sum of small things can do a lot. That dignity can be built this way too: through small acts, repeated, without fanfare.

I’ve never sought visibility in this. And I’m not seeking it now. But today I feel that staying silent would be like hiding a possibility. Because if this post serves any purpose, I hope it’s simply this: to make someone reflect. Not about me, but about what each of us can do, in our own small way. Because our small, when added together, is already a lot.

And if one day someone reads these lines and thinks, “I can do that too,” then sharing them will have been worth it.

Just to say. CJJ

P4Y – Step 30 -Piccoli gesti, lunga strada

Cosi’. Per dire. CJJ

Francesco

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

P4Y – Step 16 – Silence as a Weapon of Destruction

Posted on 22 Luglio 202526 Luglio 2025

Some words build bridges, and some words make them collapse. But there’s a force even more subtle, more ambiguous, more devastating: silence. Silence can be meditation, respect, waiting. But it can also be poison. Those who wait for an answer that never comes live suspended, condemned to imagine everything that was left unsaid.Questions…
