There are sentences that arrive like verdicts, sharp and relentless: “you must accept that it doesn’t work for you.” Words that seem to close every door, as if failure were destiny, an indelible mark.
But failure is never destiny. It is a passage. A stretch of road that forces us to slow down, to look closer, to understand where we stumbled. A strict teacher, but a precious one.
Accepting that “it doesn’t work” does not mean surrender. It means having the courage to recognize that the path is not linear, that results don’t come immediately, that growth also passes through failed attempts. It means accepting fatigue, slowness, fragility. But also the possibility to restart, to reinvent, to discover new paths.
It’s not a full stop, it’s a comma. Not the end, but a different beginning. Every “doesn’t work” is an invitation to look beyond, to seek another perspective, to build a new approach.
Because what doesn’t work today may become your greatest strength tomorrow. Or the starting point for another “you must accept that it doesn’t work for you,” which will no longer be a condemnation, but a springboard.
And sometimes, it may feel like being lost in the middle of an ocean, with no engine and broken sails, not knowing whether land lies to the right, the left, ahead, or behind. But stopping to think, instead of crying or complaining, does not mean accepting death. It simply means accepting that, for now, we do not understand. And in that moment of suspension, the strength to rebuild, to restart, to find a new course can be born.
Never give up. Not to prove something to others, but to remain faithful to ourselves. Because true victory is not never falling, but always rising again.
And so another piece falls into place. Not as a conclusion, but as part of a larger mosaic: that of our resilience, our ability to transform every obstacle into energy, every fall into momentum, every “doesn’t work” into a new beginning.
Just to say. CJJ
Cosi. Per dire. CJJ
