P4Y – Step 16 – Silence as a Weapon of Destruction

Posted on 22 Luglio 202526 Luglio 2025 By Francesco

Some words build bridges, and some words make them collapse.
But there’s a force even more subtle, more ambiguous, more devastating: silence.

Silence can be meditation, respect, waiting.
But it can also be poison.
Those who wait for an answer that never comes live suspended, condemned to imagine everything that was left unsaid.
Questions without echo become obsessions. Interrupted conversations become wounds.

And then there’s the other side.
Those who know they should speak, but choose not to.
Out of fear. Out of pride. Out of indifference.
Those who hold a key in their hand, but keep it in their pocket while the other is left outside, in the cold, with open hands.

It’s easy to believe that silence is neutral.
That “not speaking” means “not acting.”
But every unsaid word is a choice. And every chosen silence, especially when it hurts, is an action.
Sometimes an act of power. Sometimes of cowardice. Always of responsibility.

Some feel strong in silence.
Because not answering is also a way of saying: “I am above this.”
But meanwhile, on the other side, someone crumbles in uncertainty, in a lack of meaning, in the loneliness of not knowing.

Are misunderstandings born from silence?
Often, yes.
Because where words are missing, interpretation grows.
And when you don’t explain, the other imagines.
And what they imagine can be far worse than the truth.

It’s not about saying everything, always.
But about knowing when silence is a form of respect, and when it’s a clean-handed stab.

Because silence leaves no stains.
But it leaves casualties.

The more I write, the more my mind runs.

“Words wound, but silence destroys. Because at least you can defend yourself from words—silence eats you from the inside.” anonymous, but lived.

Just saying. Cjj

Versione Italiana

Anonimo

Cosi. Per dire. Cjj

Francesco

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

P4Y Step 31 – When Love Stumbles

Posted on 7 Settembre 20257 Settembre 2025

There are moments when love isn’t enough. Not because it’s weak, but because it arrives late—or arrives with hands full of good intentions that resemble too closely the ones that once caused harm. I’ve seen a boy lower his gaze every time he made a mistake. Not out of shame,…

P4Y – Step 14 – When you stop deciding (and start wondering who you’ve become)

Posted on 19 Luglio 202526 Luglio 2025

There are moments in life when everything shifts without warning. You find yourself in a new place — physical, mental, cultural — and suddenly the rules that once defined you no longer apply.I’m not just talking about a different language or unfamiliar habits.I’m talking about that subtle, persistent feeling that follows…

Posted on 11 Agosto 20259 Agosto 2025

Bellissime. Intense.

    😉
