P4Y – Step 15 – The Courage to Open the Door Wide

Posted on 21 Luglio 202526 Luglio 2025 By Francesco

There are days you never forget.
Not because something big happens, but because — finally — you do something real.
Today is one of those days.

For too long, I’ve avoided that room.
I knew it was there. Sealed shut.
Behind that door, I locked away everything: the excuses, the “not now,” the “when I feel better.”
But the truth is: we’re never really ready to face what we’ve buried.
Pain. Memories. Guilt. Fear. Monsters.

And today…
I didn’t have a revelation.
I didn’t feel strong.
I only had fear.
And yet, with that fear draped over me like a soaked cloak, I lowered the handle.
I slowly opened that damned door.
Inside: noises, silence, shadows. And a void that felt like it had been waiting.

I still don’t know what’s really in there.
I don’t know if the monsters are real or just shapes twisted by my tired mind.
But now the space is open.
The air is coming in.
The light is filtering through.
And I can no longer pretend it doesn’t exist.

The first step is not always heroic.
Sometimes it’s shaky, uncertain, awkward.
But it’s alive.
It’s the exact moment when you stop running.
When you choose, even with trembling knees, to face yourself.

This post isn’t here to say I made it.
Maybe I haven’t.
It’s here to say I’m trying.
That today, I chose truth — even if it hurts.
That I chose to stop pretending I had no time.
I didn’t want to postpone it anymore. Never again.
One click.
And I went.

I chose not to let fear have the final word.

To those reading this:
Is there a door you’re avoiding?
A room you don’t want to open?
Maybe today you can’t walk in.
But you can at least rest your hand on the handle.
Even just that…
Is already a beginning.
It’s already an act of courage.

So. Just saying. CJJ

Ho aperto quella maledetta porta, lentamente.
Dentro: rumori, silenzi, ombre.

A volte è tremante, incerto, quasi goffo.

A chi mi legge:

Cosi’. Per dire. CJJ

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

P4Y – Step 49 – The Beauty of the Imperfect

Posted on 25 Febbraio 202625 Febbraio 2026

A reflection on the quiet freedom that comes when we stop chasing perfection and embrace the beauty of the imperfect — the one found in compromises, scars, and everyday real life.
