This is my space, where experience meets the will to start over.

The first step is knowing where you want to go.

P4Y – Step 42 – I don’t need to run. I just need to move forward.

Posted on 26 Dicembre 202526 Dicembre 2025 By Francesco

I don’t need to run. I just need to move forward.

For a long time, especially in these last years, I lived trying to satisfy others. I accepted things that weren’t right for me, swallowed my words, made choices that didn’t belong to me. I thought that proving my worth to others was the right path, that sooner or later someone would understand, remember, recognize what I had done.

But the truth is, it doesn’t work like that. It took time, maybe maturity, maybe just life… but you reach a point where you understand that others are not you. You realize they’re no longer worth your worries, your overthinking, your fears. Because they move on, they put you aside, and everything you did ends up in a drawer of forgotten memories, as if it never existed.

And so yes, today I can say it: I’m glad I turned the corner.

Today I don’t run for others anymore. Today I move forward for myself.

Moving forward means taking a step, even a small one, but taking it well. It means not giving up when results don’t show up immediately. It means remembering that my life won’t change in a single day, but it will change if every day I do something that pushes me forward.

And so I say it clearly, first of all to myself:

This is my commitment: I won’t stop until I build a life that reflects who I truly am. Every day a step, every week a result, every month a new piece of my freedom. I’m not going back. From today on, I move forward.

It doesn’t matter how long the path is. It doesn’t matter who believes in it or who doesn’t. It doesn’t matter how much time it takes.

I don’t run. I move forward.

And by moving forward, I will arrive. Because if there’s one thing I know about myself, it’s that I never quit, especially when things get hard. Someone once told me I was like a matryoshka doll: inside one problem, I would face another, and another, without stopping. Not as an insult, but to show me that I know how to live inside difficulties — and more importantly, how to overcome them.

I’ve seen many wrong things done to me: from Matilde, to what I’ll never have again, to lies, silences, falsehoods, to all the things left unsaid to avoid confrontation. And in the end, what happened? That water always finds its way to the sea. Sometimes it takes longer, sometimes it finds an underground path, sometimes it hits a dam… but sooner or later, it reaches the sea.

And so will I. I will get there. I will look you in the eyes and I will pass you, until the day I touch a star and can simply say: goodbye.

There is nothing between me and the sun. Nothing that can stop this advance. Nothing that can break me. Because I don’t need to run anymore. I only know how to move forward.

Just to say. CJJ

P4Y – Step 42 – Non devo correre. Io devo solo avanzare

Non devo correre. Io devo solo avanzare.

Oggi avanzo per me.

Non importa chi ci crede o chi no. Non importa quanto tempo ci vorrà.

Io non corro. Io avanzo.

Io so solo avanzare.

Cosi. Per dire. CJJ

Francesco

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

People like me, you can hear them in the silencesbetween the lights turned off in rooms never truly empty, with a breath as long as a memoryof words unspoken yet invisibly felt. People like me, run into the darkwhen the world shouts too loud, and make themselves small so no one hears…

P4Y – Step 41 – Time, Words, and Promises in a Stormy Sea

A reflection on the value of time, words, and promises, through the metaphor of stormy and calm seas, where lies change shape, truth resurfaces, and what “everyone knows” is often different from what history really tells.
