There are days when I feel the need to disappear. Not from the world, but from the noise. I shut myself inside the way you close a door when the wind outside is too strong. It’s there, in that silence that feels like a shelter, that I truly begin to understand what surrounds me.
It’s not a simple process. The things that seem obvious to others often reach me distorted, heavy, complicated. And the things that look impossible sometimes turn out to be just one step beyond fear. The paradox is that it’s the everyday trivialities—the ones no one notices—that become boulders to move. That’s where my work begins: observing, evaluating, deciding.
And while I do it, I get lost. There are moments when my mind fills with fog, when confusion becomes an unwelcome guest. Then, without warning, a spark arrives. An idea, an intuition, a detail that puts everything back in place. Like lightning tearing through the sky and revealing the path I could no longer see.
I came this far with a precise goal. Not by chance, not to escape. Out of necessity. Because of someone who still doesn’t understand the weight of their choices and keeps telling themselves a story that doesn’t exist. I, instead, had to cross obstacles, turn down important jobs, say no when saying yes would have been easier. I did it because I know my time isn’t infinite. And what sense would it make to waste it without truly living it?
I’ve already made the mistake of letting others diminish me. It won’t happen again. This is who I am: with my quirks, my fixations, my way of thinking. With my ability to see beyond, even when it looks like I’m looking elsewhere. I know my worth. I know what I can build. If they didn’t understand it before, they won’t understand it now.
And yes, I know: living in front of five screens is madness for many. For some it’s alienation, for others obsession. Not for me. For me it’s programming. It’s foresight. It’s the most natural way I have to read the world. Someone once told me it’s a cold way to live. I believe it’s the most honest: watching, analyzing, anticipating. That’s how I protect myself. That’s how I build.
At some point you realize you can’t keep living trying to make everyone smile, especially when that smile costs you your own tears. There are moments when you can wait, and moments when you must act. The difference between people like me and those who aren’t lies exactly there: in knowing the precise moment to move, and the moment to stop and think.
The problem, if anything, is stopping. Because when I truly start moving, the past becomes a distant shadow, almost unrecognizable. And maybe that’s fine. Because in the end, what really matters is what I choose to live now, not what others would have wanted me to live. Life takes, life gives, but how we live it depends on us, not on others. It’s too easy to hide behind someone else’s shoulders and say “it’s not up to me,” or to avoid making decisions.
I, instead, have always put myself first, for better or worse. And today, for the first time since 2002, I’m writing a direct post—no fog, no masks. I’m doing it because this is the right moment.
So I’ll close with a simple, definitive truth: I do not fear the wind or the storm. The rain may fall, the snow may cover everything, but I remain. Because I’m not made of what passes—I’m made of what endures.
Because in the end, my strength doesn’t come from what I’ve overcome, but from what I’ve chosen not to leave behind: myself.
This is who I am. Take it or leave it.
Just to say. CJJ
So quanto valgo. So cosa posso costruire.
Per me no. Per me è programmazione.
Prendere o lasciare.
Cosi. Per dire. CJJ
