Truly understanding takes time, but the rush to form an opinion has turned reading into an obstacle rather than a bridge.
Today, people respond on impulse rather than through comprehension. Spotting a keyword or scanning the first three lines is often enough to make someone believe they have grasped the full meaning of a thought. Replies accumulate before the message is even finished, mistaking an immediate reaction for clarity.
It isn’t just a lack of attention; it is the illusion of already knowing what the other person is trying to say. But when you respond before actually reading, you aren’t engaging with what was written—you are arguing with a projection built in your own mind just to speed up the interaction.
Reading until the end has become a rare act of respect. It means choosing to suspend judgment until someone else’s thought is complete. Those who reply in a hurry add nothing to the conversation: they only prove they lacked the patience to listen.
Just saying. CJJ
Coi. Per dire. CJJ
