TP – Step 8 – The Captain and the Ocean

Posted on 23 Ottobre 202523 Ottobre 2025 By Francesco

In the heart of the ocean, where the sky bends low, a captain keeps watch, his brow sunk in woe.

The compass is silent, the north doesn’t speak, the engine a whisper, no power to seek.

The sails are all torn by the furious breeze, like dreams that have vanished in long-lost seas.

The ship softly sighs through towering waves, creaking and drifting in watery graves.

But the captain, with eyes like burning coal, seeks no salvation, nor fears the shoal.

He scans the horizon, elusive and wide, with a soul laid bare, stronger than tide.

The sky speaks to him in secret tongues, the stars guide his path with ancient lungs.

Each wave is a verse, each drop a thought, the ocean a teacher, cruel yet fraught.

And though the course is lost, and steel is still, he stands unshaken, by sheer force of will. For those who command don’t always steer, but challenge fate, even when it’s unclear.

Francesco Boschi

TP – Step 8 – Il Capitano e l’oceano

l’oceano è maestro, crudele e sincero.

E se la rotta è persa, e il ferro è muto,

lui resta saldo, nel silenzio assoluto.

Perché chi comanda non sempre conduce,

ma sfida il destino, anche quando non luce.

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

P4Y Step 31 – When Love Stumbles

Posted on 7 Settembre 20257 Settembre 2025

There are moments when love isn’t enough. Not because it’s weak, but because it arrives late—or arrives with hands full of good intentions that resemble too closely the ones that once caused harm. I’ve seen a boy lower his gaze every time he made a mistake. Not out of shame,…
