P4Y – Step 28 – The Art of the Were-Ostrich

Posted on 19 Agosto 202519 Agosto 2025 By Francesco

The were-ostrich doesn’t see, doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak.
It stumbles through a world it doesn’t understand, digging its own grave with the very sand it hides in.
Every problem becomes invisible: just shove your head in deeper.
Every mistake vanishes—or better, gets pushed onto the world, onto fate, onto others. Never onto its own shoulders.

The were-ostrich is a seasoned artist.
It prefers to build a theater of repeated lies, a stage of self-deception so solid it almost looks real.
It tells itself the same story a hundred times until it turns into a personal religion.
And when lies aren’t enough, here comes the favorite weapon: blame the circumstances, or make someone weaker feel guilty.
Because nothing is easier than pretending to be a giant when you pick fragile targets.
And the were-ostrich knows this well: it always chooses the weak, never the real ones.

It’s cowardice, pure and simple.
An ancient art, passed down by those too afraid to look reality in the eye.
But cowardice has a price: those who run away die a little each day; those who face things, live—even through pain.
And inner honesty isn’t a luxury: it’s the only mirror you can’t break.

So the life of the were-ostrich drifts in a limbo: head buried, legs flailing, heart beating only to hide, while around it the truth grows like a desert that swallows everything.

But sand doesn’t save.
Sand suffocates.
And when you lift your head—if you ever do—the world will still be there, larger, harsher, more merciless than before.
And in the middle of that world there will be clear eyes, steady eyes, unafraid eyes, fixed on you.
Eyes that don’t forget. Eyes that don’t excuse. Eyes that don’t get fooled.
Eyes that want to know.

Just to say. CJJ

P4Y – Step 28 – L’arte dello struzzo mannaro

E in mezzo a quel mondo ci saranno occhi lucidi, dritti, senza paura, fissi a guardarti.

Cosi. Per dire. CJJ

Francesco

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

P4Y – Step 55 – Is it fate?

Posted on 2 Aprile 20262 Aprile 2026

A reflection on the different weight we carry from birth and the strength — or apathy — shaped by our background. You don’t choose where you’re born, but you choose where you’re going.

P4Y – Step 51 – Who do we really matter to?

Posted on 16 Marzo 202616 Marzo 2026

A quiet secondary road, two figures frozen in time, and a simple but profound question: who do we really matter to? A reflection on our illusion of being indispensable and the truth that, in the end, we matter only to those who truly see us, love us, and stay.

Posted on 11 Agosto 20259 Agosto 2025
