P4Y – Step 55 – Is it fate?

Posted on 2 Aprile 20262 Aprile 2026 By Francesco

Yesterday, during a meeting, I was surrounded by people so different in culture, age, and background. And as I listened, I asked myself: what truly connects us? What would each of our futures look like? It was clear: some had started with a lot, others with very little. Yet we were all there, at the same table. At the same point.

I’ve always believed that being born with a lot or with little isn’t a matter of destiny, but simply the different weight of the backpack placed on your shoulders on day one.

On one side, those who fight to have and to achieve, aware that grit isn’t a choice — it’s a necessity. Every step is earned, every result is hard-won. On the other, those who’ve never had to struggle for the basics, who know little of lack and the need to “have.”

But life isn’t a race, it doesn’t pass judgment. It’s context, it’s history, it’s opportunity.

The truth, at least for me, is simple: you don’t choose where you’re born, but you can choose where you’re going.

Those who start from zero run twice as hard just to reach those who start at a hundred. They know they’re not the first choice. They know others come before them. And if they want to become a priority, they can’t stop. In fact, they must accelerate.

Those who start at a hundred can afford to walk, without needing to look back.

Both move forward, but the destination isn’t decided by the starting point — it’s decided by ambition, by the desire to arrive, and by the ability to use struggle as an ally, not an enemy.

And when it’s your turn to lead? If you’ve known struggle, you swear that those you love won’t have to live it. So sometimes, if you see them tired, lazy, or slowing down, you justify it. But are you really helping them — or just taking away their wind?

Your future shouldn’t depend on others. It should depend only on you. And on how much you want to prove your worth — to yourself. Make sure theirs does too.

Value isn’t inherited. It’s built.

Just saying. CJJ

JCC

Francesco

My name is Francesco Boschi, originally from Italy and currently based in the United States. For over twenty years, I’ve worked as a manager and consultant across diverse sectors — from education and cultural institutions to the food industry — developing skills in operational management, strategic consulting, and complex problem-solving. In recent years, I’ve combined this experience with a strong passion for software development, creating custom tools designed to simplify workflows and meet real business needs.

Relocating to the U.S. marks the beginning of a new chapter: a personal and professional decision driven by the desire to be close to my son and to embrace new challenges in a different environment. Today, my goal is to turn my experience into meaningful solutions, blending strategic vision with technical expertise to help people and organizations work more effectively.

I enjoy moving between different worlds, adapting tools and approaches to people and contexts. I bring leadership, flexibility, attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a strong problem-solving mindset — along with a deep curiosity to learn and grow. Above all, I believe in sharing: I’m always eager to offer my experience to support the growth of others.

The were-ostrich doesn’t see, doesn’t hear, doesn’t speak. It stumbles through a world it doesn’t understand, digging its own grave with the very sand it hides in.Every problem becomes invisible: just shove your head in deeper.Every mistake vanishes—or better, gets pushed onto the world, onto fate, onto others.
